Yep, I got a frikking lifetime IP ban a few months back for saying “Fuck Elon Musk all the way to hell” in r/politics - apparently some fanboy decided that was “inciting violence”. Fuck Reddit, happy to be part of Lemmy.
I got an IP ban for sharing the list of DOGE employees. 11 minutes after my 10 year cake day. I continue to see people share the list of names. That’s what led me here.

reddit upped thier anti-ban evasion, they know detect certain proxies, and your posting pattern and activity on the site. they use v captcha 3 alot now, which records your activity in the site, mouse click, keyboard, scrolling,e,tc.
i had alt accts waiting in case one of my acc got too many subs restricted, but reddit found 90% of it, and im left with one that is flagged, but not banned .
im not surprised politics and news are mostly bots posting, about half of them are.

I got banned from politics for referring to Marjorie Taylor Green as “Qunt”, in reference to her frequent parroting of QAnon bullshit and also her obvious cuntiness. Was informed this is a gendered slur.
