And to clarify, self promo is ok! My complaint is about the ones who wouldn’t even see this post (or any other post for the matter), much less reply to it. They just take up space and do not give anything of value back. Imo. As the fediverse grows it’s bound to happen, it just pisses me off.

Not inflammatory, but I’ve noticed some new users who come only to do self promotion, without engaging in anyting else in the platform. Mostly in art related comms but also a couple trying to promote a shady website or the like. Even though my account is new I’ve been browsing for a good while and dislike people that are only looking for an audience not a community.

I made my account so I could block all the “news” /politics , which are mostly US news/politics XD. There is no community for my country here as far as I know, and if there is, and it’s anything like it’s counterpart on reddit, then also no thanks.

Yeah, in some scenarioss you kinda have default authorithy and people like to assign leadership roles to you. For me, I’m aware height + my personality also makes me scary and unapproachable. Its a strange combitation.

Yesterday I watched it and “your idol” hasn’t stop playing in my head. I’m not into kpop at all, but like to keep up with some of the popular animated movies. And it blew my mind how masterfully crafted the climax was. The choreo, the lyrics, the camera… Even the sex appeal. a total banger! The movie overall is ok, but that villain song has some strong staying power.

I still use one I bought in 2007.
