I can’t tell if a work is AI generated, so, if someone posts something and they are genuine, I just trust them at their word. I’d rather call 10 AI art pieces good than calling a human made art piece bad.

I just act as if every photo is man made, that way I don’t accidentally shit on a real artist by falsely calling their work AI.

While I hate AI, I hate copyright even more. I want copyright protections to erode as much as possible, but the AI-specific exceptions that has seem to pop up is not filling me with hope. The current laws are trash and we shouldn’t want to expand the power Disney holds even more, it will only hurt artists.

The problem with AI detectors are that if you try to protect your art against being used in training, using nightshade for example, will make the detector say it’s AI enerated, even if it’s fullt hand crafted.

I think they used nightshade or something, that makes it stand out as AI created to AI detectors
