My posting script does do a health-check on the catbox image url before posting, so the thumbnail for this post is visible for a lot of people, since it must have been working at least by that much at the time of posting.

In that case, something is invalidating the login. Are you sure that it is happening due to leaving your LAN, and not just coinciding with that?

Does restarting the laptop log you out, or temporarily disconnecting from the internet? Could you test by switching to a wifi hotspot on your phone, and switching back, for example?

The client stores your session token in the OS credentials manager (kwallet for linux kde, for example) and the issue can lie there, as well.

That’s definitely not how it should work. Leaving your LAN should not invalidate a session.

Is this in your browser, or are you talking about the desktop client?

If you’re like me, you might enjoy reading the comment threads for each episode as you watch them. Each episode got a good bit of discussion when they aired.

I also posted a bunch of extras pages from the manga that didn’t get an equivalent in the anime. You can find these by searching “Monster Tidbits”.

At times it is. The story has both bright and dark parts, both visually and tonally.

It depends on the level they are on, and there is also a kind of B plot that happens above ground.

A lot of the plot takes place underground, but Dungeon Meshi certainly has that same medieval vibe. And the indoor setting is used to great effect for both cozy and claustrophopic moments.

It does feature some more colorful locations, because the magic of the Dungeon can make some levels feel like the surface.

Too much more than that would spoil some things.

See if you like the vibe of the first opening. It features several locations (with the charachters as giants in them).

Any post, on any service, is technically accessible on any other instance, running any service. Actual implementation, varies.

Unless you run into it in the feed, the way to find a given post is to enter the original instance url for it into search on the instance from which you want to interact with it.

To upvote this post, for example, even from an instance that it hasn’t federated to, I can enter the url to this post on its host instance into search, and the other instance will fetch the post, allowing me to vote and/or comment.

Same goes for mastodon toots. Get the url, put into search, upvote, comment, whatever.
