Canada has voted against the populist right for the last decade. And each time the Conservative party chooses some one more right wing. And each time they get a bit closer to winning.

Trump galvanized people last time, scared them away from the right. This time he seems to be inspiring the right wing politicians, and people live it.

I don’t know if we can hold out much longer.

Mine is now 3.5 years old. I bought a new flagship model with the idea it’d last a long time. Only now are new ‘features’ and updates coming out on new models, and even those are minor. Plus mine still has company support.

It’s about the level of processing / how it’s done. If the company is doing what you can do at home, like preserving beans through pressure canning, it’s not really an issue. More processed beans, beans in tomato/molasses take more processing and additives.

Look at the ingredients. If it’s beans in water it wouldnt be considered ultra processed.

Just testing the waters

Girls with Slingshots, it ended over a decade ago, but I still love the characters. I realized if the author dies and stops renewing the website it could disappear. As a foundational part of my early twenties I couldn’t accept that.

Last year I bought a hard copy of my favorite webcomic in case the website goes down.

Not American, but what’s this about the military saying they’ll protect protestors? That’s pretty big, thats what toppled Egypt in 2011, the military sided with protestors.

They’re waterproof for a reason

I really enjoyed Cracked in its internet heyday. It was at times funny and others poignant. Somewhere I would have wanted to publish. Technically it still exists… but it is not the same.

I looked him up. He is already retired from US military. A known democratic, endorsing both Harris and Biden. Nowadays it looks like he’s on a couple research and strategic groups and works for NATO directly.

The Westcoast shoukdnjust break off and do their own thing.

We care about the environment, but if you could commute an hour and a half to go on MS Teams that’d be greeeat.
