Honestly that’s why I just stick with local site auth and a password manager. 1) it lets me remember things via my manager and 2) if it’s compromised, they’ll only have access to that site and not other ones I’ve used to log in with.

Employees are by far the largest cost for any company. They hate paying it out when it could be for them.

He can’t take time off. He believes it’ll make him look “weak” and he’ll lose control of the narrative.
And deliciously, him trying to push through and play strong man will kill him even quicker. I seriously wonder if he’s starting to question his mortality or is just completely ignorant.

On Reddit if the admins didn’t want “RandomTopic” they could ban it or lock it and other variants. On Lemmy you always go to another instance and make it there and the admins of the original instance can pound sand. And if they go as far to defederate there are still other instances out there that federate with it.

Yeah 4K means jack if it’s compressed to hell, if you end up with pixels being repeated 4x to save on storage and bandwidth, you’ve effectively just recreated 1080p without upscaling.
Just like internet. I’d rather have guaranteed latency than 5Gbps.
