Meal plus prereco included. Full access to facilities except things like massages which are extra. But its so over due money does not exist over enjoyment. My wife and I need us time after 30 yrs of dealing with other people’s bollocks

Edit i should probably clarify i got told about one of those Groupon type deals we got 50% off

My husband is the same. I’ve taken him to a spa a couple of times and he’s not that into it but he said he’d do it again!! He enjoyed the massage, but doesn’t like the pool!

Quiet week. Did some tidying, putting away the holiday stuff etc, met some friends for lunch. I’ve been reading a lot but not much of anything else!!!

Reading anything exciting? I’m pushing through The Silmarillion this summer, great in parts, poor in chapters too though

        Thats Tolkien isn’t it??

I was recommended some books which are not my usual and I’ve devoured them!! It’s romantasy, which is not a genre I thought I would like, but I have. So I’ve read the 3 books from the Empyrean series (Fourth Wing, Iron Flame and Onyx Storm) then 5 books from the ACOTAR series. Looking forward to new ones being written! Also read The Dicktionary Club which I didn’t really love and I’m now on What A Way To Go.

Recovering from a stomach bug that’s going round (not had it as bad as some, fortunately). Other than that, messing with the household computers. Seeing some well made FOSS versions of software that I use a lot now. The moving away from US corporation controlled software continues.
