If you wanted to honour war heroes … go look up the veterans of D-Day or the European battles towards the end of the Second World War … Actual fighting soldiers who faced certain death, escaped with their lives, won great battles against a formidable foe and dealt with overwhelming odds and won.
Also consider the soldiers that fought in the Pacific theatre … some who were even captured, held, tortured and lived to tell about it.
Instead, they want to honour a bunch of cowardly idiots that murdered women and children in cold blood and now call them heroes.
