I gave up facebook a year or so after college. Told my friends, made sure the group chat had my number, same situation.
That feeling sucks, still a little bitter and bothered by it almost a decade later. I try to give them the benefit of the doubt and say that they’re just busy and the average person is a cognitive miser.
This is exactly what I expected when I suggested it and precisely why I’m so pleasantly surprised. I’m sorry for your experience.
