Deregulation of consumer protections clearly harm consumers, and the same with environment.
There are also standards regulations that stimulate competition, and greatly increase industry efficiency.We have regulations because, spoiler, things used to be unregulated and they fucked up enough people demanded the government set some fucking rules.
