My mom sometimes uses “doomaflagidad” for basically anything. The only way I’ve been able to translate is by using context clues. Usually based on what we’re talking about or if she’s pointing or using hand gestures.
I’m a trans woman and generally nice person. I like video games, board/card games, Magic The Gathering, DnD, karaoke, tech stuff, and space stuff. I work as a computer programmer primarily using C# .NET. Not sure what else to say haha.

I remember bits and pieces from my childhood. I think most of the memories are there, it just requires something to trigger the memory to load. Like a name or a place etc. (Sometimes watching nostalgia videos can help haha.)
Like I still remember my teachers names and how friendly or strict they used to be. And I also remember some friends and drama. And Video games are also a big core memory for me haha.
In general, I think we all have memory of our childhood. We just need help to trigger our brains to remember. And if we can’t find the trigger, we end up forgetting. Like installing a program on your PC but then deleting the shortcut to it.
I graduated with an associates degree in 2006. It was hard finding a job for some reason even with a degree and a internship under my belt. I think it took me 3-6 months to find a job.
By 2008, I was in that new job and mad at my step mom. So i moved out and got a roommate. From there it was very good at least for me. Only thing I dealt with was work and my health issues.
2008 was basically the start of my adult life. The naive and confident me.

I had a severely long cross-dressing and denial phase since like 2000s ish. It is all a blur. Somewhere around 2008 I lived by myself and had the freedom to explore and experiment in private. And then somewhere around 2021 I realized that I’m trans, possibly before then but denial is a hell of a drug. And then on Nov 2022 I finally started hormones. And now I’m 2 years into hormones and happy!
I started hormones at the age of 36 and now I’m 38.
5, but with a body pillow and sometimes I roll over and switch sides.

My current partner and I are both introverts. The only reason we met is because we both dared to go outside to our LGS (Local Game Store). There, we met over a game of Magic the Gathering and some DnD and misc board/card games that I brought with me. And we started chit chatting over discord.
I eventually invited them over to my birthday at Dave and Busters where we bonded and there was a spark. I asked them out first, to which they said “yes” but they had a condition. We had to go on 3 dates before it was official. During that time I learned a lot about her life and I told her alot about mine. We were extremely similar in a lot of ways but also different in some ways. But the dates went really really well. And we’ve been steady for 2 years now.
In addition, I’ve somehow very quickly gained favor with their family simply by doing occasional board game nights with non-mainstream board/card games and just hanging out with the family and stuff. And also providing tech support on occasion haha.
Needless to say it has been going really really well. Way better than any of my past relationships. It only took me 39 years to get to this point in my life. As some of the comments have said, finding your love can sometimes take a long time.
Just try to be patient with finding love. And try to do things you like to do that are outside. That way you can meet people naturally with similar interests. There’s tons of events and things out there that you can go to just to meet people that like the same things that you do.
I’m also using Connect on a Samsung S24+. And the website looks good to me. ;-)

I like the “Anbernic RG35XX SP” because it feels like an upgraded GBA SP. It has a foldable screen so the screen doesn’t get scratched while carrying it in my purse. And it has 2 micro SD card slots. One for the OS and one for games. Meaning you can customize it any way you want to.
I installed muOS on mine which even supports some “ports” of PC games. I love playing Stardew Valley on it for example. Though it does take some tech knowledge and research to figure out how to setup.
The buttons are nice and clicky. And granted, the 35XX SP doesn’t have analog sticks… But IMO, analog sticks always end up in weird spots on smaller clamshell handhelds. And I have other devices where I can play those kinds of games. So it works for me.
Its also nice and light. Larger handhelds like the steam deck are too heavy in my opinion. Heck I even have trobule with the switch sometimes and the 3DS XL haha. Maybe it’s just cause I’m getting old but those kinds of handhelds hurt my hands and wrists when I play them for more than an hour or so. But I can play on my RG35XX SP all day without any issues.
It does come with default software and a bunch of games. Which could be nice if you’re less tech savvy. But I personally like to remove all that stuff because I want MY games loaded on to the device and not a bunch of extra stuff I might not play.
Anbernic makes a lot of good devices so I guess it’s more of your personal preference. Maybe checkout some comparison videos on YouTube and see what you like ;-)

TLDR: if you’re a VRChat player/enjoyer, Find a cool world in VRChat to pose in with your favorite avatar by yourself or with friends and take a picture with the in-game camera.
Alternatively, “Elite Dangerous” is a great desktop background generator! Find a cool spot and take a screenshot. Boom. New desktop background haha.
/end TLDR
I play alot of VRChat and I found a cool world in VRChat called " VR art ‘New place’ ". It’s basically a VR art museum where you click on the “painting” and it teleports you inside of it. The scenery in the world is super super pretty and very cool; I highly recommend it.
What I did is I found a spot that I thought would look good for a desktop background. I posed on a dock facing a giant moon. And then used VRChat’s fly camera to give some distance. Thus making my avatar appear small in the center and expanding the view of the art in the world. That way the focus is moreso on the world with my small avatar in the center.
It’s kind of like placing yourself in the middle of your favorite desktop background. Granted I suppose any experienced photoshopper or photographer could do something similar haha.
As for Elite Dangerous, I’ve enjoyed flying my ship to a cool star system and then using the spectator camera to take pictures of cool phenomena and use those as desktop background too. Some of my favorites include: landing on Ring planets, finding a tiny planet with a view of 3 or more stars, or pictures of black holes.

I’ve got a modded Nintendo Wii which plays GameCube games and also does emulation from a large hard drive.
I also have a ps3 with two gun controllers and Time Crisis Razing Storm combo disc (3 shooting games included). And Killzone 3 which imo, is amazing. Especially with the gun controllers.
I also have an older xbox 360 white model with backwards compatability that still works somehow (knock on wood). So we can also play original xbox games in addition to Xbox 360 games.
All of these hooked up to a large flat panel TV on a swivel mount. And with 2 couches. And a fake zebra rug and smart lights for ambience.
I will entertain you with nostalgia. And couch coop or versus gaming.
And if we get bored of games. We can watch YouTube or Netflix or whatever.

Depending on what apps you want, you can try downloading Winlator and run them. I’ve had some success running windows games on my phone. However I never tried productivity apps.
But… Theoretically, if “wine” can run them then Winlator should be able to run them.
That’s about as close as it gets currently. Although it does require some level of tech savvy knowledge I suppose (and an android phone). Which thus means it isn’t perfect as you previously stated.
Maybe it’ll improve over time. Just have to wait and see.

I’m not sure if the feature is region locked or not. I didn’t have to worry about any of that. This feature is brand new with the One UI 7 update.

I currently have and use a Samsung Galaxy S24+. Not sure what you mean by CSC.
There is a default voice recorder app included with the phone which can be used for meetings or other recordings. But when I make a phone call there is an extra button on screen. When clicking the button it informs the caller that the call is being recorded for legal reasons. Any recording that goes thru that app is able to be transcribed.

For users with a Samsung Flagship phone, if you have the “One UI 7” update, they just recently added this feature.

I use Kdenlive to make Karaoke videos. The kind with text and it animates over the text. Allowing viewers to sing the songs.
Granted… I only started last year and I only have 2 videos and I’m severely slacking off… But that’s besides the point haha… I still did it.
Here’s hoping the update is really good.

BuhBuhBuhBuuuuh!Buuuuuuuuhhh!!! buhbu-bu-buuuhhh…

IMO, I still think there’s not enough infrastructure to support charging EVs. Don’t get me wrong I’ve seen some. Just… Not a lot. Until charging is as prevalent as gas its just not worth it. Or if you have a house I guess.
In some areas I hear it’s good. But in my area there’s only 1 set of charging stations at a Wawa that I know of. And that Wawa is an hour drive away. Plus I’m at a rental complex that mows the lawns regularly and having a cable run from my house to the car is not allowed.
My current gas operated vehicle has about 160000 miles on it. I’m hopeful that my vehicle will last a long time. And then when my vehicle dies, I’ll look at the infrastructure again and see if it’s beneficial for me to switch to an EV. I’m going to continue to wait until it’s beneficial for me to buy a new car.
We’ll see how it goes.
I hit the big 101000 recently. Time sure does fly by.
