Just wait until they add VTEC to it
You have to use the Google Play version of OSM for Android Auto, plus tweak a setting or two in the advanced settings of AA. As for the maps itself it’s been fine, I use GPS not Google Play Services for location, so I need to make sure the phone is in clear view of the sky for best results, but it still works in the center console of my car. Just make sure your location services are on before opening OSM or it acts funky.
Did the same thing last September, my S21 Ultra’s battery was getting tired and I was tired of the Samsung bullshit. So far it’s been great and so has battery life, plus it’s a breath of fresh air to only have apps I want installed without needing ADB to remove them after Google/Samsung decides they want them reinstalled every few weeks.
Only downfalls have been my broken banking app (which might be the actual app being broken based on Google Play reviews) and the amount of tweaking I needed to do to get OSM as my default map for Android Auto.
I finally have a phone that actually feels like mine, not just a leased device from the manufacturer.
There’s still a fuck ton of pennies in circulation and on the ground, unless they consider them no longer legal tender we’ll have plenty.
However, if we end up following how Brazil does it, in my experience, it depends on the person/vendor and the amount. If you buy something that’s like R$3,99 you’ll usually get give them R$4 and that’s it. I’ve also had it where I’ll pay for something that’s say R$4,89, give them R$5 and get 15 or 25 centavos back. Could also depend on what’s in the drawer at that time.
Corporations will 100% pocket the difference at first, but once it becomes a normal thing to do the rounding I’ll wager it’ll fall to the Brazilian method, especially with local businesses or vendors.
Absolutely fuck them for this if true, and as a carrier I will not comply if they start coming down and asking us if names are valid at addresses. They can walk me off the job, charge me with obstruction, I don’t care.
Just another arm of the Gestapo and I hate that I’m associated with them. Time to look for a new job.
Didn’t they just announce it a few days ago? I was not expecting it to release already, wow
Battlebit Remastered is my first thought, feels like Battlefield and looks like Roblox/Minecraft. It’s fun and plays well and has community servers which were active last time I played.
Disclaimer: does have Easy Anticheat software
And has reliability issues, I got one for my mom so she could use my Plex server, it died just outside of warranty. She didn’t use it often so it wasn’t used and abused, just stopped outputting video one day.
They know what they are, they display it proudly
Found Trumps Lemmy account
Same with curved TVs. I knew a guy who dropped $2500 on a 65" Samsung Curved TV thinking it was the coolest thing ever. He mounted it on his wall and quickly realized he made a mistake because of the horrible viewing angles. Unfortunately for him, he threw away the box at the store because it would t fit in his car, so he was stuck with it.
I’m using them lol I know I could sell all 3 for a good price, 2 are EVGA K|ngP|n cards and one is a FE that has a very good overclock potential. I’m not looking to upgrade now, they still work fine.
The GPU market is a goddamn disaster. Nvidia can’t even put the right amount of ROPs on a card or back up their “5070 is a 4090 hurr durr” claims, AMD ditching higher end GPUs, melting connectors, AI, AI, AI!!, etc. Even with Intel’s Arc GPUs it’s not enough to compete when Nvidia has all the market share in consumer cards.
I’ve got a 7800xt, a few 3090s in various gaming/video editing systems and a RX 6400 for a backup card. I’m not buying any more until this AI bubble bursts and cards start having actual amounts of uplift from generation to generation and when I can buy one without them getting botted to hell and back.
The absolute bliss
Same with me when I was in Brazil, it was chugging along just fine back in New England
I don’t recommend anyone buy a Jeep, not because of the ads but because they’re built like shit. Quality has been in free fall for decades while prices have skyrocketed. Death wobble issues (Wranglers), motor reliability out the window, rust, more rust, just not worth it.
I owned a 94 Cherokee and I loved it, and even though that 4.0L straight 6 had problems at least it would still run with bad piston rings, mysterious battery drain and holes in my radiator. The new ones just can’t compete.
Yeah my 3090 K|ngP|n pulls over 500w easily, but that’s over 3 8 pin PCIe cables, all dedicated. Power delivery was something I took seriously when getting that card installed, as well as cooling. Made sure my 1300w PSU had plenty of dedicated PCIe ports.
Funny, just installed EOS on my new system and it’s been great! Only had a few small hiccups with setup due to the strange setup I have.
Exactly, sometimes you just wanna jam to some mp3’s out of an iPod like the good ol days. It’s about the ✨vibes✨
When I flew back from Brazil last year to Orlando, almost the entire plane was families with kids, a lot of which were wearing Disney merch. I bet that flight will soon be much less full as $250 is currently almost R$1,400 per person. R$5,500 additional for a family of 4 is a LOT of money in Brazil.
