Honestly it’s a pretty clever scam by conservatives. Run on a platform of big government is inept, wasting your money, we need to reduce spending and reduce taxes! Once in office, do nothing. Sabotage functional government. Obstruct long term projects. Now you have things to point to as proof that big government is bad and does nothing, because you were the big government and made sure nothing happens.
Woah woah woah. Texas seceded from Mexico to preserve slavery until they joined the US so they could secede to preserve slavery. And a cuba libre is delicious, not nearly as watered down (underwater) as Florida is.

In my experience, telegram is one of those “if someone asks you to go on this app, they’re trying to scam you” platforms. Flatly avoid.
I mean, I have some, because I already know my phone is spying on me even more aggressively. I don’t have any illusion that I had privacy in the first place

It’s been a hot minute since I’ve used a linux distro for personal use, but I’ve got a laptop that probably needs to move over. That being said, I would still LIKE to play some windows exclusive games on that machine. Is wine still the go to for fudging compatibility? How good is it? Will I be able to download windows only steam games with relatively low effort for such uses?

Given that Win10 is getting deprecated this year and Win11 has specific hardware requirements, I think 2025 could be the year of the linux PC. I’ll be curious to see how massive corporations for which this would mean millions or billions in hardware upgrades to stick with Win will square that circle.
I’m pretty sure it’s a known strategy of a handful of billionaires (the richest man in PA comes to mind, though I forget his name) to back moderate dems to shift the board to the right.
