Because Seagate sell the most drives and all drives fail?
Yep.
If you can do it, you can sometimes use that skill to quickly compare whether two adjacent vertical images are identical. If they are, you will just see a single version of the image as normal. If they are different, you will easily see a ‘fuzzy’ part of the image that won’t resolve and stay still (hard to describe, it’s like when I try to read text in a dream).
A practical application I use now and then is when I want to compare two columns of data on a screen. Use the magic eye technique to overlap the columns and any differences will be immediately obvious, even with a lot of data.
The important point is that they can regurgitate specific strings they have ingested. Personal information they have sucked up could just as easily still be in there.

My favourite thing about these non-wifi wireless protocols is that devices using them seem to want cloud connectivity a lot less than those that come with wifi.
Why waste a bomb when you can use no-food for free? Oh, maybe it’s a recreational bombing.
It’s kettling at a national level. Virtually imprison innocent people for long enough, in conditions bad enough, and it’s no surprise that they lash out. Likud was waiting for it and used it as the pretext for the extermination of the Palestinian people.
Maybe the same issue that Silverblue has with the Firefox from the Fedora repo. The Flathub repo Firefox has the non-free codecs in it.

Why haven’t I finished that task from eight weeks ago? I can’t tell you, or it will get even later.
America could sure use less internal combustion and more high-speed rail.
Uh, what? I’ll use a quote when it neatly captures what I was thinking, and credit it to the original author. The phrase is the important part I guess, but fair play to the author.
If you’re drawing authority from it, that’s on you. Sometimes you just like the turn of phrase and are giving credit.
No, I’m providing a counter-example and rejecting the argument that only lost media entitles you to consume media for free.
1984 missed that our telescreens would be portable and the hate isn’t limited to two minutes per day.
When I return from the library instead of the bookstore it is with the deepest shame.
As a child and into my teens, I had an inner monologue that was switched on all the time. After practising meditation and reading without subvocalisation, I was finally able to ‘shut up’ where stopping the monologue was as easy as stopping talking. Anyway, I’d encourage anyone to give it a try. Now being able to think without distracting chatter is well worth it for me.
Parrots are way smarter than LLMs.
