Don’t worry. It’s bigger on the inside… 🟦
Both Tuta and Proton are decent selections.
Some of the rumblings from proton admin are a little concerning… too early to see if they’re going to have issues or not. Their service is robust and easy to use.
Tuta seems to be a fairly good choice from a privacy standpoint. They aren’t nearly as robust of a product package and using it feels a little old skool and clunky… but they’re actively working on it… so hopefully it will change.
The biggest thing with proton is that they offer a suite of products. They look to compete directly with the goog on their offerings… so they have email, calendar, password manager, file drive, wallet, whatever else… and they’re working to integrate them. So if you use a plethora of g-products… it’s more of a smooth transition because there are more analogs to use. If you have already diversified away from a monolithic product base, then this isn’t an issue.
Perhaps this would work…
Yeah… it’s frustrating to see these kinds of things. Like… yes… stop doing the bad thing… but if you’re going to start a whole petition… maybe offer some feasible alternatives and solutions.
IIRC GOG is actually partnered with HeroicLauncher… so… it’s semi official to use that… and better UX.
Even at msrp it isn’t worth it right now. They’re having issues with the melting cables still, the drivers not working properly, and things like you might just not get the correct amount of components on your chip die. This series has been abysmal. With the amd 9070 coming out I’d still wait and just look at those to see if they take this gift nvidia is giving them and run with it.
Tried a bunch of the ios apps and settled into Voyager. Good UI / UX and functionality, active developer, and open source. No real complaints so far.

Did they try offering a $10 gift card to the other companies? “hah psyche!”
Always check your public library. The ones in m area have these which cost you nothing to use because they are supported as public services.
Always support public libraries.
Ever seen what real life F1 car steering “wheels” look like?
First was technically knoppix because it had a live boot cd function. That didn’t go well. There was some kind of bug where it murdered the bios on my pentium2 and I was unable to recover the system, bricking the computer.
First time I was able to fully install and use was ubuntu warthog… So that’s what… 4.10? I think so.
