I stopped using reddit after the api changes, and started using lemmy after about a year of going cold turkey
More than a few of my work colleagues will search up something and then blindly trust the ai summary
It’s infuriating
Use freetube on pc and tubetube on Android
Thank me later
I got my dad to try Firefox and he said it drained his phone battery like no tomorrow, so now he uses brave because it doesn’t
I’ve been using Firefox for years on my phone with no such problems, so I can’t exactly verify what he’s saying
Use pipepipe wooooooo
Ngl I honestly prefer terraria over minecraft. You still get a nice feeling of exploration and can build really cool structures, while having a more concrete overall goal
Unless you start counting servers and mods (which I would argue is unfair), terraria gives you a more complete and fulfilling journey
Yes, but there’s a huge degree of bias whenever you ask people anything. Obviously teachers are going to think phones are detrimental to class focus, and thus they’re more likely to say their ban helped with that same focus
Same thing If you asked students, but reversed
Considering I dont live in the US, yes
Hear me out
Crunchy outside with chewy inside
Bit misleading. Tumour-associated antigens can very easily be detected very early. Problem is, these are only associated with cancer, and provide a very high rate of false positives
They’re better used as a stepping stone for further testing, or just seeing how advanced a cancer is
That is to say, I’m assuming that’s what this is about, as i didnt rwad the article. It’s the first thing I thought of when I heard “cancer in bloodstream”, as the other options tend to be a bit more bleak
Edit: they’re talking about cancer “shedding genetic material”, which I hate how general they’re being. Probably talking about proto oncogenes from dead tumour debris, but seems different to what I was expecting
Or Freetube on pc, a FOSS desktop client
I remember this skit from horrible histories
I am once again recommending freetube
I just download my songs using freetube, load then onto my phone, and use a FOSS music player to make my playlists. That way, even when I drive out into areas with spotty connections I get my tunes coming through
I use kdenlive for all of my video assignments. Absolute gem of a program, you can find video tutorials online that help you with anything
It has been 0 days since I last recommended freetube as a youtube frontend without their bullshit
I’ve installed Linux mint about a month ago and it’s been great. The only real problem that stops me from moving everything over is:
I can’t properly play small untranslated Japanese games that aren’t on steam
To be clear, I can run them just fine, it’s just that the translator I used (VN Translator Neo) can’t be run on Linux. When I run it using wine, the window just goes black
I’ve tried a few other image-based translators, but they all either don’t run or don’t detect the game in wine
If anybody has a workaround (besides dual booting windows) I’d be very grateful
Wait, are party pies not a thing outside of Australia???
Meanwhile in aus we get like 5 MB/s
