If you ask Tesla drivers, they often purchased the car because someone told them Teslas are safe, despite them being the statistically most lethal car you could drive in America.

System prompts are the easy but wildly unpredictable way to change LLM output, but we really can’t back-trace or debug that output, we guess at what impact the s.p. edits will have.

I sort of agonized over the wording - if the system prompt is uploaded to Github, is it code, or is it documentation?

I’m the automotive equivalent of a muckraker, so yeah, Tesla does enough weird stuff that I talk about them a lot. They’re hardly the ONLY news I cover.
