Dude, using an Nvidia RTX 3080 card has been a bust for me. I lost count how many times Gnome crashed. Now I’m running KDE Plasma, and I can just hope it works.

If I could have smart NPC:s in my games that would be the fucking tits. Not to mention that DLSS is basically standard config these days for better performance.

The ‘Ivy league’ of universities are elite schools, for the elite.
If you get in by scholarship, which is not how most people end up in these universities

What ‘immediate’ even means in this context I don’t know.
Murvel@lemm.eeto Programming@programming.dev•The manager I hated and the lesson he taught me84·4 months agoYes, being indirect. Instead of saying: ‘you did a bad job’, say ‘here are things you can improve for next time’.
On is confrontational and problematic, the other diplomatic and constructive.
Murvel@lemm.eeto Programming@programming.dev•The manager I hated and the lesson he taught me402·4 months agoEverything the author describes can still be accomplished by being diplomatic and understanding without being confrontational and direct. Plus, you build a better, more resilient team that way.
I’m not really sure the author learnt what he thought he learnt.
