Interesting read, really like their writing style.
I’ve got one coming and really can’t figure out any meaningful benefit to having the WiFi enabled
Didn’t we (the UK) already bow to the cheeto with our own trade deal?
They have less value than the paper they’re written on so I fail to keep track
The article’s main point is that bookings are down from the year before in the first 4 months of this year.
I’d imagine their reference point to bookings being “the worst they’ve seen” this summer is last summer.
i.e it was hot as hell last summer yet numbers were better than they are this year
That’s the sort of decisions being made: do I cancel and lose this money. I don’t many could swallow the loss and still went.
My guess is it’s a trip most book a year out (ie after returning from their last one) so the decline will be alot more noticeable around October
I’ve given history a break for a few months so will try this, thanks so much
Brilliant list, thanks so much, you’ve saved me for boredom in the garden this weekend
I’m terrible with films, attention span has never been up to it but will give it a try - thanks
I could be wrong but I don’t think s/he was being serious
How come Lemmy isn’t obliged to also?
Urgh, the ones that say “well my ice car can do 700 miles on a tank so until EV can do that I’m not doing it” annoy the hell out of me.
I know damn well they’re never driven that far without stopping at least once
What’s madness to me is that people in my country have a holiday to the US booked… and are still going.
My safety is worth more than a few sunk thousand
What’s great is Canada is pushing forward will alternative negotiations. The US should know that they need to get to the table immediately before all the deals are done
I immediately went looking on temu :)
I don’t the poster meant to happen!
Who decides which country is “crazy”?!
Are you in the US? I’m in Europe and I think people here working in supply chains have reservations about DEI targets when buying for American companies for this same reason. We’re taught to buy only based on value and capability to deliver.
I agree, it’s a step beyond the little sticker on the back of the car.
I’d do the same if I had one but pedoguygate switched me off the brand and it’s never been the direction that I wanted to see EVs go (look I have a button that makes the car/range go down really fast. I also don’t think talk of range without reference to battery size is helpful)
Consider yourself both radicalised and owned liberal! /s
I only see wiki reference 10 soldiers having died - is this the number you’re referring to?
Do you think that’s alot? In my head that’s disproportionately few compared to the [disputed] 100s of civilians that the Chinese government declared dead
How about Soundcloud? I ended up there and have been happy but knowing my luck someone will tell me that Putin and Netanyahu own it! :)
