Surely they should be threatening Oasis with legal action for selling them in the first place. Calling that “music” is definitely one for trading standards

It would be more useful to correlate this with other common risks, like PFAS exposure, genetic factors, etc
That’s exactly how I read it, I had to go through the article a couple of times to make sure I was getting what the author meant, and I think it’s exactly that
Fuck off Keith, was colonising Ireland appropriate?
Even though on the face of it this is a sensible suggestion, I object to it due to it coming from such a complete waste of oxygen
What the ever-living fuck? That’s the most unhinged conclusion
Wow, it really does work, and somehow works retroactively. That’s some seriously strong voodoo, I’ve hated phones since they migrated of the kitchen wall
Mint, thank you! It stops doing it for a while, then decided it needs to warn you every time god a while, and so on. It’ll be great not to have that!
iPhones will do this even when you’re connected to an external device. Like I’m using you as a source, I want high signal-to-noise ratio, not constant nannying nonsense
Now start jailing the executives responsible
Yeah, that’s pretty much my attitude. Why am I worrying about a watt here and a watt there when muppets are constantly asking LLMs inane questions and getting them to make dodgy hentai.
I have a whole bunch plugged in constantly for various synth nonsense. Running off solar, I thought it would be worth seeing how much of a difference it makes turning everything off at night, and basically it wasn’t worth the effort. It’s like a percentage point on top of the things like my fridge that run constantly, and is way less than using my toaster once a week. That said, if you’re on mains, it’s probably a worthy consideration if a lot of people were to do it, but it’s also probably comparable to using ChatGPT once a day or something
Fantastic, thanks, that’s a good resource even if they don’t have the specific ones I’m after
I should have specified, shouldn’t I? Auto/commercial/plant. I seem to only buy gear that doesn’t have readily-available workshop manuals
It was a good read. Guy’s clearly a nutter, it must have been pretty frustrating for everyone involved knowing that he’s their guy, but having to listen to his nonsense as he tried to wiggle out of it
“Rhode Island’s premiere Engelbert Humperdinck impersonator” is quite the accolade
A role model for any child
Du Bois from Disco Elysium?
I thought as much
Aww, come on, winding up oasis fans is practically a national sport at this point. The only people who rise to the bait faster are Radiohead fans
