Ooh yeah I learned so much from the Pokémon scarlet violet subreddit.

There’s a subreddit for my town but I don’t think there’s enough of us on Lemmy to keep it active.

Usually we both have to pee around 2am, so the wake up is not a bother. We also are used to each other’s alarms, so aren’t woken by the other.

We do the same, she’ll have a foot touching my ankle and I’ll have a hand touching her hip. Sometimes her toenails are stabby and I roll away but she seeks me out in her sleep lol.

Occasionally I’ll sleep on the couch if I have a sinus headache as it is more upright to promote drainage, but vast majority of time we sleep together.

I have looked and not found that option.

It is possible to block all of the primarily foreign language communities, but the bad news is you have to do it one at a time. When I see posts from a community in a language I do not speak, I block it so it does not clutter my feed.

There’s a road near my house that has sections at 30mph, 40, and 50. Most folks drive 45 on all three.

I’ve interviewed at two mills in Arkansas. You basically can’t live near the mill, they are located in or near dead desolate towns where you’ll get stabbed for meth money. You have a long car commute to an overpriced McMansion in. Golf cart community.

With some effort I can even see the image in the small thumbnail on a magazine or webpage. I have not yet been able to see them negative where they go into the screen instead of coming out of it.

I worked at a shop that made large hydraulic cylinders and some of them used buttress threads.

DC at least makes me hopeful with the new Superman trailers, but I’ll reserve judgement until I actually see it.

Ah, the cycle of DC. This one could be good, the previews look interesting, but then it’s just darker, edgier, and now Batman has a gun.

Make the company liable and they’ll come up with their own way to prevent or mitigate this. Their business model is causing this, it’s their job to fix it.

Fine them a punitive amount per occurrence. It’s probably not cheap to discover and we probably only find a fraction of them so the cost must consider that. It must also be high enough to either incentivize a fix or fully cover repair.

One per state is not great. Like the senate, it will over-represent low population states and unless you include Puerto Rico it will be an even number.

We almost need a non-partisan judiciary oversight board that appoints supreme court justices and has the authority to remove them given concrete and well-defined rules to prevent them from acting against the public and judicial precedent.
