first of all, unemployment benefits should not be tied to you showing up to a job interview because usually it follows that if offered the job you must accept if you can. so, you basically have no agency and have to take whatever shit job offered. if i get a red flag or otherwise don’t to commit to an interview i do not owe the company or its workers my notice. i will make the effort if i choose to but me being a dick shouldn’t make me lose my benefits.

i mostly visit the RateYourMusic and AlbumOfTheYear charts and occasionally i’ll check out the last.fm profiles of users i find interesting. basically, i treat music like a hobby but i do so because i desire that kind of connection. i love music so i devote a lot of time to it. i have pro accounts on all three places. luckily they are relatively affordable. i think last.fm is $3 a month lol. but yeah, i’d say if you are unfamiliar with RYM or AOTY then maybe check one out.

edit: in case you’re not familiar, all of those mentioned are music cataloging websites that you can create customized profiles on. last.fm will import your listening history and you can track your habits in real time. it’s good for finding your stats.

while you’re not wrong i do want to reiterate that mRNA vaccines are likely going to be how we treat and cure cancers so there is precedent at least for this to be massive news. if not this there will likely be a real announcement one day.

imo reddit as a whole is conservative. the userbase is center-left at the most visible and i regularly saw progressive opinions discarded or mocked. you’d expect the liberals to defend them at the least but i’d see less of that and they’d get dogpilled too.

i was banned from reddit but had been wanting to leave for quite some time at that point, so it was a welcomed change. that’s when i learned more about decentralized social networks and stuff… glad to be here. i wouldn’t go back to reddit even if i was allowed to.

Trump has mentioned several times that political and moral enemies would be targets. Nobody is coming for us. Nobody is going to stop this. The average American has been pacified and made powerless; nobody believes in radical revolution.
• Every single major AI company has stated their goal is AGI (artificial general intelligence; or what we colloquially understand as actual artificial intelligence) and humanity is absolutely unprepared for it. We have no systems in place to prevent misalignment of AGI agents and our focus of profit above all else will only guarantee a misguided path.
• Genocide is happening worldwide and the majority of the world is living in poverty.
• I am a gender, sexuality, and religious minority, and my far left radical beliefs make me a target

i meant what i said, unfortunately lol. it’s in the “hypothetical” stages but isn’t science fiction either. every major AI company has stated it is their goal.

AI is here to stay as they’ve already moved on to calling what is actual AI AGI (artificial general intelligence). so look out for AGI in the future because it’s not too far off.
