You’re not wrong about any of that… but any communist nation has its own problems. History has pretty much shown there is no perfect form of governance, especially when you have hundreds of millions of people living there. And why would so many people from those communist states immigrate en masse to the US over the years? Surely there’s a reason for that - lots of freedoms are afforded here that aren’t given under communist rule.

Misinformation can be just as bad in a communist nation when news is controlled by the state. Russia and China have both notably had issues with that over the years. Journalists “fall out of windows” all the time in Russia. I’m gonna reference them mostly because they’re some of the only nations with similar population size to the US.

Birth rates are dropping in places like China too due to economic struggles. Yes, they’ve gone green with electric power and all that - but they’re still one of the worst polluters in the world. And child labor runs rampant in communist countries.

If the US govt. had rewritten the constitution here at some point instead of interpreting language that no longer applies to modern nations - we would be a lot better off.

Most of the problems we’re facing aren’t solely due to capitalism… imagine if Trump and co. took power in a communist state. It would be the same, if not worse due to the structure of govt. Less guardrails there and it would be way easier to shut down any opposition from the population.

  • You’re conveniently ignoring the fact that most of that happened in the months immediately following 10/7. Of course Israel was going to be at peak insanity at that point…

Bold your text all you want lmao whoever we voted for here wasn’t going to change the US from sending money and arms to Israel in the short term. Harris at least wouldn’t have deported and locked up protestors. We’d at least have a voice - which would’ve left an opportunity for things to get better. Anyone pro-Palestine here is fucked now when it comes to that.

She’s also not buddy-buddy with Netanyahu like the special needs orangutan. You absolutely knew what you were getting with Trump if you voted for him or abstained. Anyone that says differently is ignorant as hell or has been on a deserted island cut off from the world for the past 10 years.

  • Definitely a symptom of the 1% hoarding all the wealth… there’s a version of that “trickle down” theory Republicans seem to love so much. If you can barely afford groceries or housing - how do you expect people to be able to afford basic medical care and other things that keep people from teetering off the edge?

Workers are paid like shit and burnt out - so lots of people do bare minimum at work to get by. I don’t blame them. A society attempting to function like that ends up with holes all over the place that make everything worse and decimate any kind of safety nets for lower and middle class families. Corporations and government put up all their red tape bullshit that seems to be done solely to exhaust people and make them want to give up.

And one of the most stupid things of them all - you now have dumb fuck Republicans openly shouting from the hilltops that vaccines are evil and to not trust doctors…
