Every single ad these days go into a memory black hole. They are so irritating, so invasive, so EVERYWHERE; that I instinctively dissociate from anything in them.

They won’t get my conscious or subconscious attention. All of my large purchases are researched a minimum 2 weeks in advance and anything small is done on a case by case basis (of which I intentionally scrutinize anything I might have “heard of” because I’m aware of the phenomenon. Fuck all ads, they are my enemy.

Do you have links to any knowledge base docs or guides? I tried setting this up a few years back and couldn’t really nail it down and just kinda gave up because it broke too many websites and my smarttv apps wouldn’t work either.

How long did it take to un-break basically every website? I tried doing this and it made pretty much every site that had this problem unusable. I could never find a sweetspot that only blocks ads and let’s legitimate traffic through; and it caused issues with my partner’s work portals.

Next time, laugh in their fucking face while you scarf down a whole pie. They aren’t better than you, in any way. 99.99% chance they’re just luckier (which could always change).
