All of them had the screen stop working. Could be my bad luck, but I wasn’t super rough with them (never wore them in water)
If you open the android settings for Organic Maps (where you adjust permissions), there should be one called “Open by Default” or something like that. Just add all the links that are presented there.
It’s definitely a real thing, but not exactly ADHD related (except for how ADHD people seem to often have anxiety too)
Assuming US, Open Banking is on the horizon. Will likely still take a few years before it’s fully implemented, but hopefully soon!

If you find you start to look too “Hulk-like”, then just stopping for a few weeks will bring you back. Bonus is the muscle memory you gained from reaching “Hulk-like” will make it even easier to maintain the level you want to be at.

If someone clicks on a phishing link, that is the fault of the business for not training them well enough.

hydration9806@lemmy.mlto Piracy: ꜱᴀɪʟ ᴛʜᴇ ʜɪɢʜ ꜱᴇᴀꜱ@lemmy.dbzer0.com•The Internet Archive just lost its appeal over ebook lendingEnglish4·11 months agoEncapsulated in that “etc.” in my first response is “going out of business”. This type of response would be way too difficult to get actual numbers for, but it has worked countless times. Just look at all the businesses that are no longer in business at all, they went out of business because they were no longer earning enough to stay viable.
It doesn’t matter if the company connects the loss to a specific action (although it would be nice) since the end result is the same, after enough time.
Lastly, I just don’t like the idea of my dollars being used by a company to further an agenda that I don’t want to support.
hydration9806@lemmy.mlto Piracy: ꜱᴀɪʟ ᴛʜᴇ ʜɪɢʜ ꜱᴇᴀꜱ@lemmy.dbzer0.com•The Internet Archive just lost its appeal over ebook lendingEnglish243·11 months agoI would argue this is actually one of the most effective ways to respond. If enough people do it then the company has to react somehow (by pivoting, etc.). Obviously an organized effort would be better, but the “vote with your money” method isn’t anything to ridicule.

Hell, even the guy who came up with the term “phishing” clicked a phishing link at the height of his cyber security career and just barely caught himself before providing info.
These people aren’t idiots, they are victims who were tricked.
Originally governments wanted backdoors into encryption protocols, but now they seem to want client side scanning (i.e. scanning messages on your phone before it’s encrypted and sent out)
