My work asked me if I would travel to Las Vegas and I flat out told them no, and told them why.
I suspect this will be an unpopular comment, but…
I’ve kind of tuned out. Granted, I don’t live in the US but their policies still closely affect me. Still, I have decided that I would rather spend my mental energy on other things. My partner, my close friends, things that I enjoy, things that make me happy.
I am fully aware that this kind if complacency is exactly what they want. But I just don’t have the energy for it anymore. In the words of John Coffey: I’m tired, boss.
But I don’t just use it for watching videos. I also use YT music to listen to a few hours of music every day, and I also use it as off site storage for hundreds of hours of 4k video.
I mean, I’d never buy anything by that logic alone.
I’m pretty tech savvy and pay for premium. It’s just too good a value for my household right now.
How is it worse?
CachyOS lately.
I don’t “get” virtual desktops. I mean I’ve tried them out and don’t care for them. I’m curious if those who do are using single monitors or low resolution?
You’re putting an awful lot of faith in the fact that literally anyone will stop him from doing this longer than 30 days. Congress has to pass a law to extend it? Says who? The law? I don’t reckon Trump cares much about a silly little thing like the law.
Ooh, integrates with Home Assistant too… Definitely checking this out!
Fairly confident you are using it wrong.
Linux distros often have torrents for their ISOs.
I have not.
Thanks, I’ll definitely check this one out. I love stupid simple!
I’ll look into this, thanks for the suggestion!
Genuinely had crossed my mind but I’m interesting in something a little bit more sophisticated, with a GUI, and something my partner would be comfortable interacting with as well. Maybe even something I can easily access on my phone.
I’ll consider if if I don’t find something better, thanks!
You disagree with… the things I personally find annoying about Linux?
I’ve found CachyOS to be a good fit for me, sounds like I’m in a similar position to you.
