The UK is the testing grounds. After they figure it out, they’ll be rolling it out everywhere else.
Some dirtbag that shouldn’t have bred.

Pretty sure christians get lots of hate on Reddit too. If you want a christian echo chamber just go to a church, not internet social media.
Edit: to be honest, a lot of us are on the internet just to get away from religious people.
Lack of diversity, imo.
If you’re (edit)NOT(/edit) into Star Trek, Linux, coding, or politics there’s not that much content. Which isn’t gonna attract too many new people, and is probably alienating to many of the new users checking out the fediverse.
I hate the ads & the Reddit app, but Lemmy feels like more of an echo chamber than Reddit does.
Maybe the USA should heavily invest in the industry of the USA, just like China does, in order to keep up? No, then USian companies would have oversight & have to meet expectations, and we all know that they wouldn’t want that.
It’s not hard to admit you’re wrong, unless you’re overly prideful.
The deregulation & lack of inspections is probably so that the people don’t have as many legitimate reasons to demand higher pay.
I’m guessing they mean they’ll be erasing the records set while competing as a female, which makes sense.
Harassment sure, but not abuse.
Thank you for making laugh in the middle of my life loathing rant 😂
So they are ok with spending hundreds of millions of dollars, just not in any way that actually improves the city for the people that live in it?
It’s not about the money, it’s just misanthropy.
Lol I think they’re already using the same technology that is used by AI to do biochemistry, so I didn’t mean “ask chatGPT.”
Maybe use some that AI shit to engineer some microbes that can eat plastic. Or I dunno make less plastic waste?
I definitely agree with you, but I remember how Digg & then Reddit both went to shit once the masses started to use them. Same with Facebook.
I feel like if we all spread out between multiple platforms, none will become big enough for the enshitification to hit them.
I disagree. Things seem to get worse when the herds move to them. It’s as if things are good precisely because they aren’t there.
Toyota didn’t start out making cars. Does that mean they shouldn’t have started making cars?
Yes, DoorDash got its start delivering food, but that doesn’t mean they are restricted to that permanently.
And yes, I recognize that electronics are expensive, but that’s why I said to press charges on the delivery driver. DoorDash & BestBuy didn’t steal the package, even if they are being lazy about their delivery protocol.
But…
If we have enough evidence of instances where DoorDash drivers steal with impunity… we should be able to start a class action lawsuit against DoorDash since they are basically being negligent.
Oh ok, I thought it stood for make America hate again, but that works too
*MAGA?
Yeah, I don’t think it is, but it’s the end result that concerns me.
