I can understand Lemmy or others communities hesitation on this. They’re being very cautious about which features we enjoyed from reddit lead to dark patterns and drama.

This seems mostly benign to me except that it can take somebody’s faux pas (don’t @ me on the spelling) and extend the dunking forever into the foreseeable future. On the one hand, there are legendary people who will allow that to happen to themselves for good spirited entertainment.
