Fucking love cornnuts
Vietnam has a very specific and valid grudge against China. Granted a grudge against the US would also be super valid. I think it falls along the lines of China should have been their ally so from them they felt betrayed. America just gave them what they expected from western imperialism. This is vibes based though so take it with multiple grains of salt
One of my favorite birbs
Seconding the vibes. Fromsoft absolutely nailed the atmosphere in ds2
He probably isn’t able to. I imagine those files are very valuable to a lot of people as blackmail and it is not unlikely they are in the hands of people willing to use them should they need to. It is worth noting that Trump isn’t all powerful here. Should he act against the interests of the portion of the ruling class that supports him, he can be done away with. Though not without the possibility of great cost to the fascist movement he figureheads.
Never forget that nazis tried to assassinate Hitler multiple times
It depends on what I am looking to learn about but I use the Peoples Dispatch often. It is very left leaning and has great coverage of the global south. There is no such a thing as unbiased reporting, you must consume media critically with an understanding of the writer’s biases. Taking into consideration who pays the writer and how they get the money to do so is also very valuable.
The guardian is good too and is one of the few western sources I trust. For most things atleast
I am almost certain some of these are not central Texas
How could Lula allow this :(
Not everyone has an “inner voice”. Having one isn’t anything particularly notable either. Humans seem to conceptualize there thoughts in a variety of ways and none of them signify your intelligence imo. For me though it is a very literal inner voice. I conceptualize my thoughts using internal words or pictures. I will even speak to myself directly through a sort of dialogue. I think it comes from reading a rediculous amount of books as a kid.
Because everyone is convinced they are the one who knows
They really don’t amd honestly never did. Less people were punished at nuremburg than there were guards at Auschwitz. Many nazis got domestic government positions within years of the Paris Peace treaties and some got greater european positions of power like Chairman of the NATO Military Committee. Not to mention the many Nazis who were taken in by the US including the Butcher of Lyon who got a position with the US intelligence services where he hunted communists and taught torture. These days the AFD with direct nazi ties and explicit fascist ideology is doing great. Germany was never actually de-nazified
My apologies 😘
America would be a boring ass country if it was just white America. I have been saying this
If only we didn’t have to permanently increase production until the end of time. Maybe then a shrinking labor, and consumption base wouldn’t a big deal. Its too bad thats not possible whatsoever right?
There is also fossify gallery and open camera
Actually one of the worst textures
Last book: The Hundred Years’ War on Palestine by Rashid Khalidi
This book is really informative if you want to learn the history of the Palestinian struggle for liberations. It makes an effort to recognize its successes and its faults as well as how they can do better. Fantastic book but it will break your heart. I had to read it pretty slowly because I could only stomach so many pages a day.
Current book: The Conquest of Mexico & The Conquest of Peru by William H. Prescott
I’m only 100 pages in and while it is good and most of the history holds up it has some faults. main fault is that the guy is kinda a white/euro supremacist by modern standards. He refers to many of the natives as barbarous and examines their worth by how “civilized” they were in one aspect or another. Does some pompous moralizing etc. I will give him that he doesn’t necessarily attribute this to race and often refers to Spainish history as equally if not more barbarous, especially the inquisition. Credit where credit is due I guess. It was written in the 1840s so this is to be expected. Another flaw I’d like to mention is that the author tells the history as a sort of romantic narrative. Everything is heavily cited and like I said most of the history is accurate but due to the format he leans into the great man theory of history. Historical materialism was in its infancy at the time so he can’t truly be blamed for this but his books must be read with an understanding of this limitation.
