Getting a used one is cheaper AND you don´t give money directly to Google. Or wait a year or two for the other Graphene phones.

im not posting any links :p

they called me crazy 🚬

nahh i dont think so hehe maybe they mark some comments as spam

Nopee, i’ll try that

uhh pretty sure you’re trolling lol. Its the only google account i have rn, created specifically for when I’d really like to comment on a video. Before degoogling (i deleted my account), i posted like 3 comments tops in 5 years of usage.
You can stop worrying now if you think i have spammed, trolled, or used inappropiate language. You’re acting like Google Support on a degoogle forum.

Posting links usually causes shadowbanning/deletion.

The comment was the first one I ever made with that account. I never post with unsuitable language. I appreciate your insights of other possible reasons, but it looks like you’re taking your “devils advocate” stance to the grave.
+edit: Maybe they blacklisted the VPN server that i was using?
The fediverse is the best example of what social media should be. A public, decentralized, community-ran place. Giving it visibility in the mainstream in order to make the internet more like it, and reduce corporate grip is the goal (especially when talking to an audience of people who hate using bigtech). Do you not agree?

From what I understand, shadowbanning means that the post is still up, but not getting any visibility until you specifically search for it. I’m complementing what the creator is criticizing, so it would be the algorithm who considers it spam, which is my main complaint.

The only reason i commented a 2nd and 3rd time is because it got removed from the first time. Its a 2 sentence comment, not long.

Open your eyes, you’re not creating a better world by just gatekeeping.

Yeah, i commented 3 times already, but theres no trace of the comments. All of them contained the word Lemmy. 🤷
Ironfox & Vanadium as main search, and Tor as the default, for opening links.
I strongly believe nobody is entitled to keep a registry of the sites that we visit online. Not the gov, not your ISP, not your carrier. Thats why its essential for me.
A few sites wont load sometimes, which is my only exception to turn it off, and then on again, but its a habit i have gotten used to and its not that much work, given the benefits of an always-on trustworthy VPN.
Theres the Daylight Computer, that has a 60fps display which is “like e-paper”. (eink is the propietary name, epaper is the general name of the tech)
I wish this tech could receive more funding for research and development.
`+ e-ink variant o.o if possible?
How does Obscura compare? @Charger8232@lemmy.ml They’re pretty innovative imo. Its cool that VPNs are doing new stuff, like Mullvad’s DAITA.
I have found that even when people are conscious of the “technocratic & surveillance” state of the world, they still dont change their habits. Just like “this sucks” but they dont bother on looking for alternatives.
Even when I tell them about E2EE services, or the fediverse, they’re like “that sounds awesome”, but they never try it. Once I had a friend try Pixelfed and they loved it! I was so happy hehe but it goes stale after a few days, since other friends didnt switch. But were both telling others to switch sometimes.
My family uses Life360 for safety or emergencies, and I managed to switch them over to Paralino. It was all working seamlessly until they suddenly decided they wanted to go back, for whatever reason. I don’t know what it was, they wouldnt say, but it frustrates me that they would prefer giving out all out location info in rreal time to a company that has had many breaches and has sold such data, compared to a small one that can’t even access such data, and its just a few bucks. Idunno.
