Not pictured are a dozen eggs and a 5lb sack of spuds under the cilantro.

I’m to that age where I take great joy in comparative shopping. I’m sure I could have saved a few more bucks if I had shopped around a bit more, but this wasn’t bad.

Total was $66.64.

Some highlights I think are great value

$1.99/lb chicken breast $0.33 per avocado $2.99 per Red Baron pizza $0.79 per can of tuna

At least they dont donate to political campaigns. Being anti union sucks though, I wasn’t aware of that, and its always good to know those kinds of things, thanks for making me more informed

ALL businesses are anti-union, you can’t hold that against Aldi. At least they are offering some sort of hedge against ridiculously high prices in Publix.

And now they’ve bought Winn-Dixie, and will be converting them to Aldi’s, so their lower prices will spread.

Not union, but they are still better than the rest.

WinCo isn’t anti-union, but WinCo is a worker owned company, they might be a co-op, but I’m not sure.

However, if you have Winn-Dixies still open around you, I’m guessing you’re in Florida or the deep south. You don’t have WinCo out there.
