The actual artists have just been completely pushed away by an abundance of AI slop scammers.

Yeah you looked at their portfolios. Now hire one and see if what you get matches their portfolio.
If they did that they’d probably get a lot of bad reviews and be reported to the platform.

I’ve seen it a bunch, especially now around Christmas where people have bought custom artworks from seemingly legit sellers (plenty of positive reviews and relatively old accounts) and then just getting AI slop.
